A notecard with the image of "The Kiss", a painting by Melani Grube, inspired by Gustav Klimt's painting, "The Kiss". from attempting a re-make of such a famous and beloved image, but after browsing through all of Klimt's other paintings, this clearly was my favorite and the one for me. The image I found varies greatly from the original, yet clearly references it, don't you think? The feeling I kept coming back to as I worked was, "the mystery of love". This couple's moment re-creates the world around them.
