I’ve got three shows at once!

You’re probably saying, “Wha-a-at?!”

It wasn’t really supposed to happen this way, they just ended up overlapping each other. But not to worry, because their receptions are all on different dates. I’ll tell you all about it below.

Please join me for a first: this is the first time ever that I have shown a hand-lettering piece in a show! The show is titled, “Carriage Return: The Art of Typography” and is at the Mills Station Arts & Culture Center in Rancho Cordova, Ca. The show promises to be varied and interesting, merging the graphic with the artistic. And if you have any interest in typewriter nostalgia, this is the place to be.

My piece is “The Book of Love” and is a pen and ink work. Don’t worry: it’s not just lettering, it includes design and illustration elements, as well.

If you can’t make the reception, but would like to see the show at another time, the Center keeps limited hours, so see the flyer above (or their website) to check available dates and times the show is viewable. Congrats dear Melanie/Valkyrie,
I wish I could be there but I adhere with my own art projects……
There is now a Santa Rosa Arts Center now one and half years old
I am not only a member but on the Advisory Board as the Education Director
Very exciting to be part of the growth process for something that will live longer then I.
Many art centers in the towns surrounding us but there has never been one in Santa Rosa.

Have mucho fun at your openings
    Love
    Barbara/Shekina

Wow! They are so lucky to have you on their board! You will make such a difference and set many traditions and an environment for art in the community. I’m amazed Santa Rosa didn’t already have an arts center.
      Congratulations! You are awesome!
