New Show in a Tea House!
I’m so happy to tell you that my painting, “Winter’s Icy Breath” is now on display at Nautilus Tea Company in Fair Oaks, CA for their Winter Show.
When I painted this piece, I was looking for the spirit of Winter in the paint spatter and what I found was this icy goddess’ face, on the left side of the painting. I realized she was exhaling her cold fog over the landscape and I worked the rest of the painting from there.
Thank you to Tanya Tallent (pictured above on the right), the gracious owner of Nautilus Tea Company, for having my artwork in her show. She’s the best! I’m honored to be included among the many exciting artists featured there.
And you really must check out this ambient Steam Punk tea house with the best tea selection in the area. It’s tucked into a corner between a restaurant and a bookstore, with all the atmospheric vibe of a film noir set.
One of my favorite tea varieties there is “Abundance of Happiness”. The hibiscus in it is so smooth.
Are you a tea fan? Black or Herbal? Tell me in the comments below, I wanna know!
