Full Description of the painting:

The music from “The Aquarium” movement of The Carnival of the Animals, by Camille Saint-Saens, inspired this painting, or maybe I should clarify: as I painted this piece, the music of “The Aquarium” floated into my mind. I knew they were meant to go together, and thus began the series of paintings describing each section from this wonderful musical piece. “The Aquarium” is not the first section in this piece, but it is by far the most mystical sounding. The fish in the painting are not painted from life, but from the mysterious realms of the subconscious. The trio of people watching them and feeding them share this moment of amazement together.
